4 Words: Jamie O’Neal New Music and YAY!

Jamie O’Neal sets sail this week with Vince Gill, Kenny Rogers and many others on the 2014 Country Music Cruise just days after announcing the release of her first new album in 5 years titled ETERNAL.  The 11-track collection will be available March 18 on Shanachie Entertainment in partnership with O’Neal’s Momentum Label group. The Album will feature Jamie’s unique take on classic hits by Patsy Cline, Bruce Cockburn, Deborah Allen, Larry Gatlin, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn, Juice Newton, Connie Smith & more.

“ETERNAL is a little different for me,” confides Jamie. “I grew up listening to these songs and was shaped by the artists who originally made them famous. It was an honor and a challenge to record such wonderful songs. There’s also a bonus track that fans have been asking me to record. It’s a funny song I wrote with my dad as an ode to everyone who gets to sleep with a ‘snoring moose’ every night. I had so much fun recording this whole album and was a little sad when it was finished, but now I get to finally release it, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

In case you are a little bit new to country, Jamie is a platinum selling, Grammy nominated Country Music star whose hits include “There Is No Arizona,” “When I Think About Angels,” Somebody’s Hero,” and “Trying To Find Atlantis”.

A few of the country classics featured on the project include “Don’t Come Home A’ Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind”),  “Leaving On Your Mind,” “Help Me Make It Through The Night” and “Golden Ring,” which features Andy Griggs as O’Neal’s duet partner. The bonus track titled, “Wide Awake,” is the only original song included on the CD. The tune was co-written by O’Neal and her father/ manager, Jimmy Murphy.  Release dates for the album’s first single and accompanying video will be announced soon.

I leave you with one of my favorite songs of all time from Jamie “Somebody’s Hero” which is pretty much the Mothers Day anthem. I am working on setting up a #CMchat Twitterview with Jamie in March. Stay tuned!

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website CMChatLIVE.com. My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat. It all started with a hunch...back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.) I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
