[email protected]_Watson Releases New Single #ThatLook (Listen!)

Aaron Watson is a Texas country chart-topper who is also no stranger to the U.S. Country chart. Specifically, Aaron has charted five albums, one of which (Real Good Time) broke into the Top 10 in 2012 and yielded four separate and successful singles. Now, Aaron is back on the scene with the release of the lead single off his twelfth studio album, The Underdog.

“That Look” is a song that Aaron affectionately announced is dedicated to his wife, Kimberly Watson (@MrsAaronWatson), and should be shared with someone that we love. Aaron’s musical devotion to his other half is a track about everything that a man loves about the woman with whom he is sharing his life. Whether it is the way she handles her stress, her ability to make him weak in his knees, or the certain something she has that melts him, his wife has Aaron won over. And, when she gets “that look,” she is simply irresistible to him.

The loving chorus boasts:

When she gets that look in her eyes; when she gets that want you, need to love you right now kind of look in her eyes, she’s always looking so fine that I can’t believe mine, and when those stars align, just add a little white wine and moonlight and that girl’s off the hook. When she’s good she’s good, but even better when she gets that look.

The single, which was released today and already rose to Number 3 on iTunes, has a pure country sound that brings us back to the late 1990’s-early 2000’s, before country turned electric and rock, relying simply on pristine vocals, strings, light drums, and the stroke of some keys to create musical magic. In fact, the song is so special that it should come as no surprise when it continues the streak of Aaron’s great chart successes.
