[email protected]_Young “Love is War” Shoots Up Charts With a Little Help From @mrBobbyBones

American Young recently embarked on a week long radio promotional tour for their latest single but it was a stop back home that landed them competing with the top names in country music. Love him or hate him there is no denying that Bobby Bones has power in this industry and when the Nashville based host of The Bobby Bones Show, asked listeners via twitter to download “Love is War” the song shot straight up the charts. “Love is War”, which previously hadn’t charted, had now peaked at 37 ahead of Luke Bryan’sCrash My Party“.

Anyone can relate to the sweet yet brutally vulnerable lyrics that are infused throughout Love is War. Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson’s voices blend organically and the result is simply addicting.

Young lovers in a picture frame
Ever notice how there ain’t no rain
Nobody hangs hard times on the wall
You won’t see it in an 8 by 10
But there’s a storm every now and then
A slamming door down the hall

Sometimes love is a white flag
Sometimes love is standing tall
Sometimes love is a feather
Sometimes a cannon ball
But it’s worth fighting for (it’s worth fighting for)
Baby, sometimes love is war
