I don’t even know where to start explaining what a whirlwind amazing weekend I had with Big & Rich thanks to Holiday Inn last weekend. The sun, the beach, the white sugar sand, the great music, the fantastic food, the amazing people I met, the hospitality provided by Holiday Inn…let’s just put it this way, I will be going back to stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Pensacola ASAP!
Holiday Inn teamed up with Big & Rich and awarded five of the band’s most die-hard fans the chance to “run away” with them to the Holiday Inn Resort® Pensacola Beach Gulf Front for a once in a lifetime trip, which took place this past weekend. All I can say is that they blew me away, as always. Seeing Big & Rich acoustic with some Trey Hill is all that and a bag of awesome!
The American country music duo Big Kenny and John Rich, who make up Big & Rich, are songwriters, vocalists, and guitarists, known for explosive live performances and a devoted fan base across America. The Holiday Inn Resort brand joined forces with the band as part of the Holiday Inn® Journey to Extraordinary campaign, which was launched in the summer of 2014. The campaign celebrates the incredible stories of each and every guest who walks through the doors of a Holiday Inn hotel. The Journey to Extraordinary campaign continues this year with a focus on celebrating the connections that travelers make while on the road – be they with loved ones, new acquaintances or their favorite musical duo.
As part of the brand’s collaboration with the band, Holiday Inn Resort is also offering more than 40,000 free downloads of Big & Rich’s new single “Run Away with You,” available for download here and available through Tuesday, September 22.
Additionally John and Kenny talked with me about new music, Donald Trump and Big Kenny’s new Reality Show in this periscope we did.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here are some of my favorite moments from last weekend…

This post was made possible through my association with Holiday Inn. As always, thoughts and opinions are always my own.

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website CMChatLIVE.com. My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat.
It all started with a hunch…back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.)
I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
