NEW MUSIC VIDEO: “Got Me” from Big Smo

Hey KINFOKE!

I love me some Hick Hop Country-fried Rap Rock and Big Smo has been a BIG part of my playlist for sometime now.  In his NEWest VIDEO for the song “Got Me” from Kuntry Livin’ we see a slimmed down stylin’ Big, or I should say, Fit Smo and it looks like there’s a small town scandal in the works!

The music video for “Got Me” was not what I expected in my mind (sorta saw mud and mass amounts of moonshine). Even though the storyline didn’t fit what I would have created, it exceeded my expectations and to all parties: well done friends. It has the quality of a full cinematic production, and such a unique dramatic expression of the song. The gist of the video is a crime spree where a group of guys stake out an armored car, and the entire town somehow gets involved in the action. As a crime show fanatic, this video made me analyze, analyze some more, and overanalyze. The results of my analysis are: everyone will draw their own conclusions and this video is wide open for interpretation. I would love to hear what you all think! Let me know on Twitter @CMchatlive.

The prequel to the video, which features an acoustic version of “Got Me, will play right after…I put it on a playlist for you along with some of my other favorite SMOngs!

“Got Me” is available on Big Smo’s album Kuntry Livin’ and you can check out the review I did for it here.

Big Smo Got Me

GOT ME LYRICS
[Big Smo]
A little Bocephus
A lot of Jack Daniels
Little bit of Jesus
Whole lot of scandals
Living in a hick town
Lot of growing my own
Southern fried chicken
Leaving nothing but a clean bone
Sucking down suds and sipping on moonshine
Locking in the hubs
Slang mud for a good time
Ain’t going down till the sun comes up
Didn’t know if you know, if you didn’t guess what

[Chorus]
That’s what you got, that’s what you got girl
That’s what you got when you got me
That’s who I am that’s who I am
As a man I don’t know how to not be
All i want to do is rock you like you rock me
That’s what you got that’s what you got girl when you got me

[Verse – Big Smo]
You riding shotgun
Subs in the back seat
Rattling windows
Rolling down main street
Getting off the grid
Where the KC’s pay off
Cutting through the dark
To the barn with the hay loft
Laying you down
And giving you my word
Boys are my boys but baby you come first
Doing you right like no other can do
Having your back for a rebel with a tattoo

[Chorus x4]
That’s what you got, that’s what you got girl
That’s what you got when you got me
That’s who I am that’s who I am
As a man I don’t know how to not be
All i want to do is rock you like you rock me
That’s what you got that’s what you got girl when you got me

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website CMChatLIVE.com. My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat. It all started with a hunch...back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.) I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
