[email protected] Announces Next Single “Neon Light”

Raise a glass, folks … Blake Shelton sure is! Blake’s next single, entitled “Neon Light,” will serve as the debut off his upcoming album Bringing Back the Sunshine. “Neon Light” is scheduled to ship to radio stations on August 18th and will begin impacting radio on August 25th.

Blake took to social media today to announce his excitement over his new single and to share the cover art for the record:

It can be anticipated that “Neon Light” will flourish on the charts like Blake’s last twelve — yes, count them, twelve — singles have done. While, throughout his career, Blake has recorded a grand total of seventeen Number 1 hits on country music radio, his long-time Number 1 streak began in 2010 with “Hillbilly Bone.” Blake broke his own Number 1 record recently (set at eleven consecutive Number 1 hits, breaking Brad Paisley’s prior record) with “My Eyes” (featuring Gwen Sebastian), which was his twelfth consecutive chart topper. Could “Neon Light” be Blake’s lucky thirteenth?

Bringing Back the Sunshine, Blake’s eleventh studio album, will be available on September 30th, but can be pre-ordered now by visiting Walmart.com. For details on Blake’s next studio album, head over to Nicole Piering’s recent informative post.
