A country power couple finally plants some roots in Nashville. In a recent interview with Taste of Country Miranda Lambert confirmed that she and hubby Blake Shelton have bought a house in the good ole’ country music capital itself, Nashville.
The incredibly, musically blessed power couple have been living exclusively on their farm in Tishomingo, Oklahoma but felt that it was time to make Nashville a more permanent home.
“We just bought a house here in Nashville, outside of town. We had a condo for awhile, but we wanted to like, kinda put roots down, because we’re always going to be in Nashville.” Miranda went on to talk about her and Blake’s excitement about the fast approaching move. “We’re excited about it, because we’re here all the time and we’ll always be here recording records and having something to do in Nashville.”
According to Forbes.com the couple’s new home resides in the elegant and lush Brentwood, Tennessee on the Arnold Palmer Signature golf course. It’s a lovely 3 story home with 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and an outdoor pool and is a very spacious 11,079 square feet. Williamson County records show that Mr. and Mrs. Shelton paid 2,258,000 for the grandiose property and closed officially on July 24, 2013.
I am officially volunteering to house sit for them when they are traveling. Just putting it out there Blake and Miranda!
