Remember that name friends.
This talented new female artist, signed to Red Bow Records, entertained the crowd in Athens, Ohio a few months ago with a solid mix of original music plus a cover or two…one of which was Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” and she KILLED it. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but she’s a humble, down to earth person.
The first thing I said to Eden when I met her at the Country Night Lights Festival was how much I sing along to her Sirius XM The Highway debut, “American Dreamin,’” when I hear it…and then she told me the story behind it and I wanted to make it my own personal anthem.
She even sang a line and changed it to “Canadian Dreamin’” for me while we were sitting there on the couch backstage. I don’t say this about a lot of artists but Eden is someone you just want to be best friends with because she’s that enjoyable to talk to. I hope you’ll take the time to look up her music and follow her career because it’s only going to good places.
When did you begin a career in country music?
“My father was in a country band and as a young child I wanted to be a part of that. I started playing local shows around my hometown of Loxahatchee, Florida, and when I was 22 I moved to Nashville. Two years later I signed with my record label.”
Any pre-show rituals you can share?
“The band and I, well, we usually get in a little rap before we go on stage. It loosens everyone up and gets everyone pumped up to go out there together.”
What are your must have travel foods?
“I try to keep it pretty healthy. I like having apples, bananas and almonds around when we travel. If we’re stopping at a restaurant, it has to be The Cookout.”
What was the inspiration for “American Dreamin’?” Were you part of the writing process?
“I was actually. It came from where I was in my life at the time. I was a recent graduate and watching all these talented people follow their passions and turn them into jobs and careers. So I wanted to write a song about that.”
Anything you can tell us about a new single or an EP?
“We’re thinking maybe the end of this year or beginning of next year for another single hopefully. Currently working on an album now so there’s no definite date for that yet.”

I travel internationally to support musicians I believe have changed my life.
I hope to one day work for a company that is both historical and musical.
