More About Brooke Hogan
Brooke Hogan, as we first became acquainted in 2005 sitting in front of the television, still has a youthful, wide-eyed exuberance and excitement about her. Fast-forward to present day, Brooke Hogan, the “girl next door” that we’ve grown to love, has become a confident young woman, singer/songwriter and recording artist who’s come into her own. “I’ve become comfortable in my own skin.  I’m not testing the waters, I’m prepared to dive right in because I’m confident I can swim!”

Born Brooke Ellen Bollea, Brooke Hogan is most-well known as the only daughter of pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.  She was discovered by the masses in their wildly famous reality TV show series, “Hogan Knows Best” (2005-07) and her own spin-off “Brooke Knows Best” (2008-09). As her audience watched the comedic and endearing aspects of her personal life, the most significant of her talents (as a professionally trained piano player and dancer, a prolific songwriter, polished vocalist and extraordinary entertainer on the music stage) remained a hidden treasure.

“People think I was a reality star that had a sudden urge to try my hand in music. It was, in fact, the other way around.  What people don’t know is that I took dance, piano lessons and sang long before our family became ‘television famous.’  I signed my first record contract at 13. The head of the label (Lou Perlman/ Transcontinental Records) suggested we do a show to promote the music; our initial goal for the television show was to introduce and launch my music career.”

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Brooke grew up inspired by the music that filled the Hogan home. “I was fortunate to be introduced to a wide spectrum of music from various genres. My mother loved everything with soul from the The Isley brothers, Teddy Pendergrass and Sade…to the Dixie Chicks, Loretta Lynn and Carly Simon. Dad, on the other hand, was rock-head; he loved ACDC, KISS and Mother’s Finest.  I just absorbed it all.”

Brooke began studying the piano as a five-year-old. Over the course of her childhood, she took professional dance lessons, voice lessons (her vocals were perfected by some of the industry’s best teachers), and cheerleading classes. When she turned 10, the entrepreneurial youngster took fate — and the Yellow Pages — into her own hands; she circled telephone numbers and called upon local talent agents to make introductions. Her spunky, ambitious initiative led to a modeling contract.

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website CMChatLIVE.com. My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat. It all started with a hunch...back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.) I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
