Carrie Underwood’s two-disc, ten-year walk down musical memory lane, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, was released today. Though fans have heard a vast majority of the songs from the collection, there was one track that remained unrevealed (sans a short clip) until the album was available to the public. That track is the second of the two new songs (the first being hit single on the album, “Something in the Water”) “Little Toy Guns.”
We previously offered a review to our readers, solely based on the aforementioned thirty second clip of the song, as the sampling was a perfect specimen of audio to indicate the fabulosity of the unheard album cut. Now, in its full form, “Little Toy Guns” has worked its way into our ears, and quite quickly our hearts, faster than the pull of a trigger.
Tonight, at an iHeartRadio album launch party for the ten-year country music veteran, Carrie performed the song publicly for the first time. Luckily, a fan who was up front and center caught the momentous occasion on video and shared it with the world. Rather than re-reviewing this track for you, allow us to simply invite you to sit back, hit play, and listen to the musical magic that only Carrie can produce.
