Country Music #CMchat is extremely excited to announce that we will be doing a Twitterview with Cassadee Pope on October 27th at 6pmPT/9pmET. That’s right. Your platinum-selling, CMT Breakthrough Artist of the Year will be spending an entire hour with our community to answer our questions, your questions, and, undoubtedly, crack us up and send #Selfies along the way! Cassadee has been on our “dream guest list” for us for quite awhile (have you SEEN how she rocks her social media accounts?!) and now we are ready for some “Good Times” with one of country music’s most prominent “it” girls!
If you want to receive a reminder the day of the chat you can RSVP here.
The easiest way to participate is right here on our website! Just use this link to help segregate the tweets and show the ones with #CMchat in them: it makes the Twitterview much easier to follow. You’ll be able to see the conversation in real-time, at your own speed (it’s adjustable) and the #CMchat hashtag will automatically appear on your tweets. A lot of people also participate by using Twitter.com, Tweetdeck, &/or Hootsuite.
MORE ABOUT CASSADEE POPE
Perhaps most widely known as the champion from season 3 of NBC’s The Voice, Cassadee’s career began long before her time on #TeamBlake and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. You may not believe it, but before she went country, she went rock ‘n’ roll as the lead singer of Hey Monday. As a member of Hey Monday, Cassadee went out on tour with bands such as Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and Yellowcard (Warped Tour). When the band went on hiatus, Cassadee embarked on a solo career, becoming a household name as one of Blake Shelton’s team members on The Voice, ultimately winning the competition and making her solo dream a reality. Following the show, Cassadee released her debut album, Frame by Frame, and has since experienced the kind of success few females have realized in country music. Her first single off the record, “Wasting All These Tears,” was the first debut single by a female to be certified platinum since Taylor Swift in 2006. Cassadee later released her sophomore single, “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” which yielded success across the country, breaking into the Top 40. Cassadee has spent the last several months on the road, opening for Tim McGraw on the Sundown Heaven Town Tour and remains on tour, performing various shows across the United States.
