Celebrating Opry through the lens of Country Newcomer Rachele Lynae

Country Music biggest stars to took the stage on this past weekend to celebrate the Grand Ole Opry’s 40th Anniversary.   Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Clint Black, Diamond Rio, Josh Turner, Bill Anderson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Green River Ordinance, Connie Smith, The Whites, Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press, Riders in the Sky, Jean Shepard and Jeannie Seely were all on hand for the musical extravaganza.

This 40th landmark occasion will lead up to next year’s (2015) 90th anniversary since the Opry was founded on Nov. 28, 1925. It’s rich history is chronicled in the March 15-release of Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, penned by Dan Rogers and Brenda Colladay (who will sign copies of the book on Sunday the 16th).

I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
