Chase Bryant

If there is anyone destined to make an imprint in Music City, it HAS to be Chase Bryant. The 21-year-old Red Bow recording artist grew up in and around music. And I don’t just mean just listening to the type of music mama and daddy played out of their record players either.

“From the time I was a kid, the only thing I wanted to do was play music,” Bryant says.

Well anyone who grew up with a grandfather who played piano in Roy Orbison’s first two bands, and then for Waylon Jennings or had uncles who co-founded the ‘90s hit making group Ricochet, I would say has a one-up in the musical passion department and without a doubt shows that the knack for music runs deep in the family bloodstream. So when I say he “grew up in and around music”, I mean he grew up in and around music. And from a young age, he knew music was his calling, and it was the call he was going to answer.

After graduating high school early, Chase packed up his guitar and moved out to LA to write songs for a company. After countless numbers of written songs, Bryant caught the attention of some Nashville managers’ and publishers’ attention. In August 2013, Chase Bryant signed with Red Bow Records (Joe Nichols, David Fanning). Although his songwriting nabbed the record deal, it wasn’t his choice of lyrics, melodies and guitar playing that garnered attention from Red Bow Records founder Benny Brown. Bryant’s self-taught producing skills were so top notch that he decided to let Chase co-produce his debut album with Derek George (Randy Houser, Joe Nichols).

Since his record deal, Chase Bryan has been named one of “The Best Things We Saw at CMA Music Fest 2014” by Rolling Stone and his single “Take It On Back” has been heard all over Sirius XM’s The Highway. He’s pretty humble about himself and his music career; he doesn’t think he is any better than anyone else. He just likes to be himself and have a good time.

“We all have a destination,” he says. “We all have dreams we want to follow. I’m no different than anybody else, I just sing about it. It’s my job to put the party on and give people a good reason to have fun.”
