Known for his remarkable good looks and his full force live show, Chase Rice has risen from the guy who wrote Florida Georgia Line’s No. 1 single “Cruise” to the star himself. After four headlining tours and two Top 5 radio scores, Rice is back with a new single “Everybody We Know Does,” which was written by Jeremy Bussey and Travis Denning and released via Columbia Nashville.
“Everybody We Know Does” delivers a solid rock sound but lyrically speaks to the blue collar audience. It’s jam-packed with sturdy electric guitar riffs and seasoned back beats. Rice paints a picture of not only who he is, but also who everyone he knows is. With lyrics such as “Not everybody understands how we make it, hold it together when we feel like breaking. Not everybody knows what we’re made of, but everybody we know does,” the North Carolina native known for his party anthems shows some added depth.
After his previous single “Whisper” failed to hit the top 50, some suggested Rice’s winning streak was over. However, Chase Rice is not the type of individual to give up. Instead, he took some time to figure out his game plan and came back with a strong and proud single that puts him right back on the playing field. Not only will “Everybody We Know Does” succeed at radio, but it will also be a fan-favorite at every performance.
