Christmas Reflections in Country Music Songs

Christmas is a time for reflection and music plays such a vital part in our holiday memories. You hear a song and it takes you back. I can’t remember a time we put up the tree without Amy Grant or Manheim Steamroller playing softly in the background. Christmas songs, old and new, help foster traditions in families and bring feelings of peace and unity.

Here are some of my favorites:

Christmas in Dixie – Alabama

Joy to the World – JT Hodges

Santa Baby – Kellie Pickler

Away in a Manger – High Valley

Oh Holy Night – Chris Young

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Rachele Lynae and Jamie O’Neal

Last Christmas – Taylor Swift

Run Run Rudolph – Kelly Clarkson

Grown up Christmas List – Amy Grant

Silent Night – Trace Adkins

The Christmas Song – Sarah Darling

Silver Bells –  Blake Shelton

White Christmas – Martina McBride

Silent Night – Kenny Chesney

Celebrate Me Home – Lady Antebellum

What are some of your favorites Christmas songs?
