[email protected] Announces Winning Additions to the #CMAFest Softball Game Lineup

For several weeks, bands have been battling it out on Stageit, raising funds for City of Hope for two reasons:  1) to assist with cancer research and 2) to earn a spot in the coveted CMA Fest City of Hope softball game lineup. The two acts that raised the most funds for City of Hope during a certain period of time were offered spots in the lineup among some of country music’s biggest superstars. We are thrilled to announce that #CMchat friends, Two Story Road (Brandon and Jamelle Fraley), and SaraBeth are the newest members of the City of Hope teams!

Two Story Road

Brandon and Jamelle of Two Story Road held three separate Stageit shows, each with the goal of supporting the amazing efforts of City of Hope and seeking to assist with the progression of cancer research. Incidentally, Two Story Road also earned a spot in the CMA Fest softball game lineup. When Two Story Road found out that the field of dreams is their upcoming reality, they took to Facebook to thank those who supported their endeavor:

We MUST thank our fans. This absolutely, positively, without a question could NOT have happened without your INCREDIBLE generosity during this fundraiser. Y’all continue to blow our minds with how much you support us. We hope you know how much we appreciate all of you, and how big of a roll y’all have played in building Two Story Road into what it is today. Y’all have made quite a foundation for us to stand on.

Thank you City of Hope & Stageit for having this contest. Without it, this moment couldn’t be possible. You’ve allowed two people who’ve been watching from the sidelines for years to finally have a spot on the team. Pun intended.

SaraBeth

SaraBeth, a player in the 2013 City of Hope softball game, decided that diamonds are, in fact, a girl’s best friend, and made it a point to return to the diamond during the 2014 CMA Fest. In an effort to #StrikeOutCancer once again, SaraBeth asked fans to attend a Stageit show and support her in her effort to be added to the lineup. SaraBeth hit a home run with her Stageit show and was one of the top earners for City of Hope, securing her jersey and position on the field.

Crazy excited to be added to this line up at the City of Hope CMA Fest Celebrity Softball game!

If you are heading to Nashville for CMA Fest, make sure to get your tickets for the City of Hope softball game so you can see some of your favorite artists compete on the field while working together to support one fantastic cause! Congratulations to the newest players in the game. We can’t wait to see you suit up, hit the field, and battle to #StrikeOutCancer!
