Clare Dunn

Growing up on a family farm in southeast Colorado hauling water, working cattle and driving anything from combines and tractors to eighteen wheelers every day, I guess you could say she was destined to be a hardworker. Singer/songwriter Clare Dunn has taken that strong work ethic that she learned on the farm at a young age and ran with it; never looking back.

It was in college when Dunn took her lifelong dream of making music and turned it into a reality. Paying her own way through Belmont University, she decided she was going to become proficient in playing the guitar, practicing day in and day out while honing her skills as a songwriter. That dedication would bring results and soon those results would start to bring on attention.

Clare has since graduated from Belmont, landed a publishing deal as a songwriter, has opened up for Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Colt Ford, Parmalee and other big names in country music, is now currently enjoying the success of her debut single, “Get Out” which has been gaining popularity as it spins on Sirius XM’s The Highway and most recently received songwriting credit for “Farm Life” on Colt Ford’s new album, “Thanks for Listening“. Dunn does it all on her “Get Out” track from playing guitars and singing background vocals while giving the song a very nice mix of a country and rock type sound. Even FGL and Jake Owen have fanned out over the song with FGL tweeting, “The best country song out by a female right now!! #getout #takenotes” and Jake Owen tweeting, “Hey @ClareDunnMusic… Love this song, you rock.

It isn’t just other country artists noticing the rise of Clare Dunn and her single “Get Out”; radio listeners are responding as well. “Get Out” currently sits at No. 22 on Sirius XM’s Hot 45 countdown this week, while benched at No. 17 on the Music Row Country Breakout chart, No. 41 on Billboard Indicator and is No. 43 on Aircheck Activator. And it’s climbing every chart. Go ahead and watch the lyric video for “Get Out” below and fall in love with it just like everyone else is doing.
