Last night marked the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, and a glamorously fun-filled night was had by all. The stars shined brightly on the Los Angeles Staples Center stage, showcasing some of the greatest artists of today across all genres of music.
Of course, Country Music #CMchat’s favorite performances and moments included those which spotlighted some of our very own, ranging from Miranda Lambert’s sassy sampling of single “Little Red Wagon,” to Eric Church’s moving “Give Me Back My Hometown,” and then Brandy Clark’s and Dwight Yoakam’s duet of “Hold My Hand.” Of course, one of the most memorable moments also took form when Miranda Lambert graciously accepted her Best Country Album of the Year award for Platinum, beautifully representing the often too underrated females of country music.
In case you missed any of these spectacular GRAMMY Awards moments, we have the country music-specific performances and speeches embedded below (sans Eric Church, whose performance has yet to be released online). Considering the outpouring of positive remarks regarding the country faces that appeared on music’s biggest stage, it is highly suggested that you immediately play catchup if something impeded your ability to watch the big show.
Congratulations to Miranda Lambert on another GRAMMYs Award win, as well as to Carrie Underwood, Glen Campbell, and The Band Perry on their pre-live show wins for Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance, respectively.
