Country Music Representing the 2014 @Billboard Music Awards

Billboard announced it’s finalists for the 2014 Billboard Music Awards this morning with the help of R&B singer Jason Derulo live on “Good Morning America” and Country Music is in the thick of things. Luke Bryan leads the country pack with a total of 7 nominations (Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Country Album and 2 for Top Country Song with “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind of Night“). Country music duo Florida Georgia Line is nominated in 4 categories for Top Country Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Country Album (“Here’s To The Good Times“) and Top Country Song (“Cruise” ft. Nelly). Taylor Swift is also nominated for Top Country Artist along with being the lone country artist nominated in the Top Social Artist category.
