Country Songs Perfect For Halloween – 7 Quick Clicks

Are you tired of the love songs? The party songs? Do you want to get in the Halloween spirit? Well, you’re in luck. We have the perfect playlist to get you in the spirit (you see what I did there?) for Halloween. Don’t worry, we will try to keep the scare factor to a minimum.

1. Jake Owen – Ghost Town

If I was ever going to be haunted, I would want my ghost to look like Jake Owen, right? I mean let’s face it, his smile is dreamy. I don’t know about you but it creeps me out thinking about waking up in a ghost town. Yep, the nightmares aren’t far off.

2. Garth Brooks – Beaches of Cheyenne

Classic country at it’s best and rather creepy if you ask me. The woman (or ghost) in this song sounds a little off her rocker and I plan to stay far away from this beach. Also, no body was found. Really? Thanks Garth. I’ll be sleeping with my night light on for awhile.

3. Reba McEntire – The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia

This song is just full of thrills and chills. They should make a movie about this song. I always said this would make the perfect thriller. Murder, scandal and a big belly sheriff. Perfect.

4. Randy Travis – Diggin’ Up Bones

This is a legendary song and the name says it all. However, I have just one question… how many bones does he have in his backyard? Sounds like a spooky time.

5. Johnny Cash – Ghost Riders in the Sky

Ghost cowboys, oh my! The lyrics are intense and the melody brings a spooky halloweenish sound. Plus, it’s Johnny Cash and you don’t need a reason to turn his music up, just do it.

6. The Charlie Daniels Band – The Devil Went Down to Georgia

A song about the devil stealing souls? Sounds pretty scary if you ask me. Just when you think ol’ Johnny is doomed, he plays the heck out of that fiddle and tells the devil just where to go.

7. Alan Jackson – Midnight in Montgomery

The song is one of a kind and in my opinion one of the best songs to ever hit country radio. It’s about meeting Hank William’s ghost on a eerie night. Creepy, huh?
