Country Thunder is known for more than its impressive artist line-up. Campsites at Country Thunder sell out within minutes, and for good reason. Country Thunder campsites are filled with music, food, dancing and endless drinks. Country concerts have nothing on Country Thunder. Here are five artists I would want at my Country Thunder campsite.
1. Flordia Georgia Line
Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line love getting their “Sun Daze” on. Being from the Midwest, they would be the perfect cornhole partners, as long as they bring some Fireball. They might even “Throw a 20 on a cornhole game.” Regardless, they have my vote.
2. Eric Church
Country Thunder is always sunshine with a chance of alcohol. Where there is booze, there is bound to be lose. Sunglasses are a necessity, but easily lost. Eric Church is the perfect campsite visitor because he is guaranteed to have an extra pair of sunglasses on hand.
3. Chris Janson
With the “Power of Positive Drinking,” something good will happen. Chris Janson is the perfect artist to bring a “Yeti 110 iced down with some silver bullets.” As long as Chris Janson is around, the campsite party will keep flowing.
4. Cole Swindell
Cole Swindell would make the best Beer Pong partner. After all, he loves to do “12 ounce curls.” Beer pong is bound to happen at Country Thunder. To be the best, you need to have the best. Cole Swindell can sit on my tailgate and pop a top anytime.
5. Jake Owen
Arizona might lack oceanfront property, but the desert can bring the beach. Our campsite is going to be a beach theme. Jake Owen would be the perfect artist to bring a cold can and a koozie in his hand. As long as Jake Owen is around, my beer is bound to be cold.

I’m a desert dweller with a hint of twang. Writing about country music has given me the opportunity to do what I’m passionate about. I’m always searching for new artists and music. Meeting Justin Moore is #1 on my Country Bucket List. I live in Arizona, it’s a dry heat.
