[email protected] and Band Create Alter Ego Cover Group @CountryKnights

We aren’t quite sure what is going on with Dierks Bentley and his band, but whatever it is, we intend to keep a close eye on the shenanigans. Dierks recently told People Country that he and his band are taking on new personas, forming a nineties cover band named Hot Country Knights.

I have a little alter ego. I’m working on a little something something with my guys in the band. It’s a little side project – a little bit of a ’90s country cover band. We specialize in ’90s country, which was a great era in country music.

The Twitter account created for this group of alter egos shared photos of their members, including one that shows Dierks like we have never seen him before:

The Hot Country Knights also posted a bio for “Douglas ‘Big Rhythm Doug’ Douglason” on the group’s official Facebook page:

The rest of the band members go by Trevor Travis, Barry Van Ricky, Shelton Van Ricky, Dillard “Monte” Montgomery, Cade “Bonesy” McCoy, Terotej “Terry” Dvoraczekinsky and Vinnie “Frenzy Fingers” Pompanell.

Hot Country Knights are expected to make their live debut at an invite-only event at The Stage in Nashville on February 25th during CRS week and are expected to “all the hits by Brooks & Dunn, Joe Diffie, Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, Tim McGraw, Blackhawk and more.”
