Call it a “lifestyle” brand, not a clothing line. That’s coming from country music’s hottest duo, Florida Georgia Line’s, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, as they have decided to dip their hands into the fashion ring. The line will be called Can’t Afford Not To, which is a catch phrase the duo and their friends have thrown around for the last few years.
Although FGL hasn’t offered up any tentative dates for the “lifestyle” brand’s official launch date, nor have they mentioned the types of products will be available under the brand, they do say that they have “some cool, creative ideas” in the works and plan to use their new brand “for good and work with different charities.”
While the “This Is How We Roll” singers work out the kinks on the “lifestyle” brand, Tyler and Brian are focusing on the release of their new single, “Dirt,” which will hit radio on July 8th. The new single will be the lead single off of the duo’s highly anticipated second album.
Florida Georgia Line is a duo composed of Brian Kelley (from Ormond Beach, Florida) and Tyler Hubbard (from Monroe, Georgia). The duo’s first studio album, Here’s to the Good Times, is an eleven-song album that was released in December 2012. “Cruise,” the first single off the album, reached Number 1 on the Country Airplay chart. A version of “Cruise” featuring Nelly later hit Number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album’s second single, “Get Your Shine On”, was released to country radio soon thereafter in January 2013 and also reached Number 1 on the Country Airplay chart. “Round Here” was released as the album’s third single June 2013 and reached Number 1 on the Country Airplay chart. The album’s fourth single, “Stay,” was released to country radio in October 2013. It reached Number 1 on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay chart. Most recently, the duo released “This Is How We Roll” with superstar Luke Bryan. You might be surprised to learn that this song also claimed the Number 1 spot on the Billboard chart.
