And the FGL boys seem super excited to share it.
Of course, following up the massive success of the “Here’s To The Good Times” debut album won’t be an easy feat. I confidently believe this next album will do almost as well, if not better, than the first. I know I’m excited. How about you?
The lead single off Florida Georgia Line’s sophomore album is a departure from the fast-paced, sometimes alternative rock country sound to which fans have become accustomed. However, fans flocked toward “Dirt,” as it debuted at #1 on the Country Digital Singles chart and #2 on Top Digital Songs for sales of 182,929 tracks in its first week. Additionally, “Dirt” scored the #1 spot on both the all genre Digital Songs and Country charts in Canada. The lead track from their forthcoming sophomore album on Republic Nashville shot to #1 on both the iTunes all genre and Country charts in the United States and Canada, while also sitting atop the Country chart in Australia shortly after release. Further, “Dirt” earned the highest one-week add total in Country Aircheck history with 130 stations in the United States, and also became the #1 Most Added song at Country on Mediabase and tied for #1 Most Added for all genres in Canada.
