[email protected] to Host First Ever American Country Countdown Awards

A new country awards show is about to hit the scene! On December 15th, the American Country Countdown Awards will take place in Nashville, hosted by Florida Georgia Line. Although Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are familiar with performing and accepting awards, this will be their first foray into hosting. “We’ve hosted a couple of pool parties at my house before,” joked Hubbard in a statement.

“Brian and Tyler are incredible artists and friends with undeniable chemistry that will make them the perfect hosts for the first-ever American Country Countdown Awards,” said Mark Bracco, EVP, Programing and Development, Dick Clark Productions.

“To prepare for it, we’re going to get with the writers and make it kind of our own,” Kelley said. “To let our personalities shine through and make some jokes of our own.”

The show will air live on FOX from Nashville’s new Music City Center and feature performances and appearances from country’s biggest names. Additionally, the show will reveal the first-ever “NASH Icon” award winner.

The show is based on the American Country Countdown With Kix Brooks, which currently airs on over 280 radio stations across the United States.
