[email protected] Premieres “Sunshine & Whiskey” Video (Watch!)

Summer may be coming to an end, but don’t say goodbye to the shot glasses and tiny umbrellas just yet! Frankie Ballard, who is quickly finding his way into the hearts of country music fans as their favorite newcomer, released a much anticipated video to his hit song and title track off his album, “Sunshine & Whiskey.”

Ballard takes his smoky voice and electric guitar down to a Pueblo village outside of Los Angeles, California where director Jack Guy uses the hot desert sun to showcase the rising temperatures between Ballard and his love interestAfter cruising up to the village in a classic sports car, Ballard finds himself in the middle of suspecting natives, but all it takes are a few lines of his hit song to get them tapping their boots. While welcoming their new friendship and paying homage to the song’s title, they are featured tossing back shots of dark whiskey. It’s not long before a beautiful lady captures Ballard’s eye and, soon, they are seen driving off with the top down.

Frankie and his guitar really make the song come alive, bringing together all of the elements of the video itself. With so many camera shots of his sultry smile, it is hard not to wish you were the girl in the video.

“Sunshine & Whiskey” has already proved its radio-friendliness with over 300,000 copies of the song sold worldwide, which further proves Ballard’s growing success in the industry as the song follows his first #1, the smash hit “Helluva Life.”
