A couple of weeks ago we reported that Justin Timberlake showed up at one of Garth Brooks’ St. Louis shows.
The two met face-to-face that evening, obviously hitting it off, because what came next in their newfound friendship was a treat to a Nashville 20/20 Experience World Tour crowd.
Garth is home in Nashville for a short holiday break, also participating in Kelly Clarkson’s Christmas on Broadway charity show that took place over this weekend. And, while fans predicted that Justin would make an impromptu surprise appearance at Kelly’s event, it was actually Garth who made the shocking cameo.
During Justin’s rendition of Garth’s cult classic, “Friends in Low Places,” the man who made the line “blame it all on my roots” a part of musical history joined his new friend in a high place — the Bridgestone Arena stage. Garth gave an assist on his hit song, simultaneously videoing the collaboration to post on his month-old social media accounts.
And it wasn’t only Garth who had an unforgettable time on the stage with Justin. The fans in the crowd will not soon forget those few minutes of their lives.
