.@Letterman Is Poised to Be a HOOT(ie) on April 30th!

Hold my hand. The moment music fans have been waiting for these last several years is about to happen. Drumroll please………

Darius Rucker will be reuniting with his beloved Blowfish, reprising his role as “Hootie” on the Late Show with David Letterman show on April 30th, and we have no doubt the reunion will go swimmingly. The performance is part of the sendoff to David Letterman whose final installment of the CBS show will air on May 20th.

When asked if this is just the first of many more appearances together, Darius answered with a don’t think I don’t think about it type of response.

We’re talking. We want to do it when it’s right. I want to do it when country music knows I’m just taking a hiatus for a minute. “I’ll be right back,” you know?

The band last performed together in 2009 and still holds the Number 16 best selling album of all time in the United States.
