Album Review: @JohnAnderson “Goldmine” (Pre-Sale Now)

Since 1971 John Anderson has been gracing us with his music. In a nearly 44-year career, he has released 23 albums and 60 singles. His long career has sprouted such hits as “Seminole Wind,” “Straight Tequila Night” and “Swingin.'” All three hit the top 10 along with 24 other of his singles.

To put it simply, John Anderson is one of the greatest country music singers to ever step up to the microphone, possessing one of the most instantly recognizable vocal instruments in the history of the genre.

He is scheduled to release a brand new 13 track album, Goldmine, on May 26 on his newly formed record label, Bayou Boys Music. Twelve tracks are written or co-written by Anderson. I’ve had the privilege of previewing this album. I was blown away. On every track, you can feel that good ole “Anderson style” that is widely loved and missed in country music. Listening to it I was transported back to a simpler day and time. I got lost in every song. There is something for everyone. Patriots, dancehall folks, lovers and fans will not be disappointed.
