Jordyn Stoddard has had our hearts since the moment we were introduced to her. From the second we heard Jordyn’s music, our love for her blossomed, and we have had our eyes on this Country Music’s #CMchat One to Watch ever since.
Jordyn recently released her debut album Southern Tide, an album that was named as an iTunes “Hot New Release” and made Billboard’s “Heatseekers” chart, and proved to be far more musically mature than her sixteen years. The lead single off the album, “Like Me ‘Til You Love Me,” an Eric Paslay and Matt Nolen written track, has paved quite the path for the album and what’s to follow, as it has been added to radio station rotations nationwide.
“Like Me ‘Til You Love Me” is an age-appropriate song for this teenager out of North Florida, telling a guy she is falling for to take his time and let his feelings come naturally. Rather than expecting the young object of her affection to be swept off his feet and instantly profess his undying devotion to Jordyn, she urges him to take his time and simply like her ’til he loves her.
In part, the catchy and cutesy tune with the positive outlook and patient message states:
Let’s roll until we start rockin’; let’s float until we start fallin’. Oh, you never know, just maybe you’ll like me ’til you love me.
Jordyn, who is largely inspired by Stevie Nicks and Kenny Chesney, embraces qualities of both, showing off a unique artistry with a laid back vibe that will intrigue country music fans and leave them wanting to follow this artist on her road to fame. A great place to start your personal encapsulating journey with Jordyn is with her rising single, “Like Me ‘Til You Love Me.”
