Josh Thompson Performs in York, Pennsylvania

On September 7th, 2014 107.7 WGTY hosted one heck of an acoustic show at the York County Fair in Pennsylvania. Josh Thompson took the stage wearing a very nice (and predictable) pearl snap with a backwards ball cap. The one thing about Josh is that he has always remained consistent with his appearance and style. He is one of very few artists who refuses to change for a little fame.

He started his set with “Down For a Get Down” which is a track off his most recent album titled “Turn It Up” via Show-Dog Universal. He also performed “Firebird” and “A Little Memory” which can be found on the album as well. Josh is a natural. He is not only gifted vocally but also gifted in the ability to tell a story. His sound is authentic and he has a real passion for country music. Also during his 45 minute set he performed his radio singles “Way Out Here” and “Beer On The Table.”

This was one of the best acoustic concerts I’ve attended. Josh Thompson is a super hero. His super power? Country music, of course.
