Keith Urban and John Mayer To Tribute The Beatles

One of the, if not the, best/most influential/iconic/you name it bands of all time isn’t from the country music genre. But John Mayer and country music’s own Keith Urban are teaming up to pay tribute to the legendary group, The Beatles.

The two musicians will take the stage at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the televised ‘The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles.’ The show, will be taped on January 27, but will air on February 9 at 8PM on CBS and will include footage of some of the most memorable moments in the history of The Beatles.

The special will air on the exact 50 year anniversary when the group made their first appearance on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show,’ which ultimately led to an outstanding, and more notably, legendary US career.

Also happening that night will include performances by Alicia Keys, Maroon 5 and John Legend. Annie Lenox and Dave Stewart will reunite as the Eurythmics as well. More artist performance will be announced at a later date.

You can purchase tickets to the event here.
