It has been far too long since Kellie Pickler marched into our lives and cemented her place in country music, all the while showing off her “Red High Heels.” With a series of hit songs under her belt, as well as her American Idol and Dancing with the Stars fame, Kellie has collected a supportive gathering of fans — a group that has been praying for something new from their favorite gal for quite a bit.
CMT recently announced that a reality show starring Kellie Pickler and her songwriting extraordinaire husband, Kyle Jacobs. The show, tentatively titled I Love Kellie Pickler, was officially brought to the public’s attention in New York City during the annual television upfronts.
The reality series will follow Kellie and Kyle and their “quirky he said/she said romance and lifestyle” — sans drama! Kellie explained to Rolling Stone:
There’s no drama, there’s no cat fights. Nothing like that. We just want to be a bright light and make people happy — make ‘em feel good and help them get away from their day a little bit.
The CMT show will be produced by American Idol host and Kellie’s friend, Ryan Seacrest (who also produces the myriad of Kardashian-related shows on E!). According to CMT’s press release, I Love Kellie Pickler (subject to a title change) will premiere on September 18th.
