Ladies First – History Will be Made at Chicago’s Country Lakeshake Festival

As one of the hottest festivals in Chicago, Country Lakeshake Festival will be bringing a brand new meaning to the phrase, “ladies first.” On Friday, June 21, 2019, Country Lakeshake Festival will make history as the first major country music festival EVER to dedicate an entire day to female artists. SAY WHAT?!

In a time where females are getting controversially less radio airplay than their male counterparts, it’s endearing to hear an announcement that truly puts ladies first and shows their capability to bring the masses to a big-time country music show. This could mean enormous changes in the future of country music!

The full throttle sass will be split up between the two stages at the Country Lakeshake Festival: the Mainstage and the Next From Nashville stage. The lineup on Friday will include Kassi Ashton, Rita Wilson, Rachel Wammack, Clare Dunn, Lindsay Ell, Cassadee Pope, Lauren Alaina, Maren Morris, and headliner Miranda Lambert.

Y’all, in case you had any doubts about attending this festival, let me remind you that there are 14 (AND COUNTING!) number one singles between these ladies and you can bet that there will be plenty of entertainment and surprises as the night commences! Gun Powder and LEADS GO to Lakeshake Festival! Who’s with us?

The all-female day will kick off the fifth annual Country Lakeshake Festival on Friday night, which will precede headliners Keith Urban and Brett Young on Saturday, as well as Luke Bryan and Granger Smith to close out the festival on Sunday. You don’t want to miss out on the festival that is making HISTORY! Be sure to purchase your tickets on their website today!
