[email protected] Lead #GarthBrooks Sing-a-long with James Marsden & @RyanSeacrest @OnAirWithRyan (Watch!)

Swooooon! Not only is James Marsden a talented actor and impossibly good looking, but it turns out, he’s also quite the country singer!

Marsden stopped by Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show yesterday to promote his new movie, The Best of Me. The movie, which is an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks’ novel of the same name, is sure to be a romantic tear-jerker, featuring an EPIC country soundtrack, which we told you about here.  The lead single from the film is “I Did With You” by Lady Antebellum, bringing the actor and the country band together in Ryan’s studio.

Although they teased that they were going to force Marsden to sing Lady A’s hit “Need You Now,” they quickly coerced him into a sing-a-long on the Garth Brooks’ classic, “Friends In Low Places.” Despite the actor’s hesitance to show off his singing chops, he quickly eased up and impressed everyone. In fact, he had Charles Kelley green with envy, “Now I’m just pissed, because he’s better than me.”

Marsden is from Oklahoma, so I guess we can blame it all on his roots, indeed!
