[email protected] Talks New Album & Its Connection to @American_Heart

Laura Bell Bundy is a “Jill-of-all-trades,” mastering television, film, Broadway, and music. The most amazing thing about Laura is her innate ability to collect fans in all formats and carry them over to her other projects.

While currently promoting her FX show Anger Management (where she stars alongside Charlie Sheen), as well as a new film on DVD, Home Is Where the Heart Is, Laura also shared information about her upcoming album. The album, entitled Another Piece of Me, has been described by Laura as personal and coming from her heart. To that end, she recently explained to Fox News:

I’ve decided to release the record in conjunction with the American Heart Association. I’m a heart disease survivor. I really would love to spread the word to people out there and especially to women that heart disease is the number killer for women. A lot of women don’t realize that. So what I’m doing with this album is I’m releasing one song a month leading up to February starting in September. The first song will represent the letter H second song with represent the letter E, A, R, T and etc. I will be taking this time to really dedicate my efforts to spreading the word and bringing awareness to women ad encouraging them to lead a healthy life while I’m sharing a piece of heart which is my music.

The first single off Another Piece of Me, “That’s What Angels Do,” is one that Laura holds near and dear to her, as it represented certain times in her own life. In fact, for Mother’s Day, Laura released a music video dedicated to her own mom and their close relationship. You can watch the video by clicking here.

Fans can expect the first of Laura’s songs to release next month, and, of course, we will have it here for you on CMchatLIVE.com as soon as possible. Until then, let’s look back at some of the highlights of Laura’s country music career so far:
