As #CMchat’s Nicole Piering reported earlier this week, the ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp kicked off recently, inviting, entertaining, and eliciting the help of country stars in Music City. While The Band Perry and The Swon Brothers previously visited the camp, another artist to pop in and support the cause was Lee Brice. However, Lee, who intended to just appear and say a quick hello, ended up taking away a lot more from the experience than he ever anticipated.
Lee told Country Weekly:
It’s strange. I’ve been her for 30 minutes and I feel like my heart is overflowing. They’re so positive and so excited about being here and working all week on the song and then singing it on Friday. My grandaddy said you’ve got to learn something new every day and try something new every day, and this is something that I’m so glad I was a small part of.
While there, Lee also engaged in a recording session with the talented young campers whom aspire to follow in Lee’s footsteps and become singers and songwriters. A video capturing the recording session (with producer Ross Copperman) is below. Other artists participating in the music camp include Brett Eldredge, Wynonna, Casey James, J.T. Hodges and Chris Janson.
