Listen: New Johnny Cash Song, “She Used To Love Me A Lot”

One of country music’s biggest legendary stars, Johnny Cash, will be having a new album dropping on March 25th titled “Out Among The Stars“. The collection of songs were found by Johnny’s son John Carter Cash in a vault where the hitmaker stored music that was ultimately dismissed by his at-the-time record label (Columbia Records) in the early 80s. These songs have never been heard before by Cash fans.

A new, never-before heard song, “She Used To Love Me A Lot” has now been released. It’s a nice, classic ‘Man in Black’ ballad and features Marty Stuart on the mandolin.

“I really love this song,” Carter Cash tells Rolling Stone. “The depth that’s there reminds me of the real serious stuff that Dad did later in his life. And I truly think it’s one of the beautiful undiscovered gems in my dad’s catalog.”
