The members of Little Big Town are a lot of things. They’re incredible singers for one. They’re also parents, philanthropists, songwriters…and now, they’ve taken on an unexpected role: video game stars.
After tweets teasing something big on the horizon, a visit to their official website revealed the exciting news. The game, entitled Little Big Town Pain Killer is a unique way to reveal the tracks on the quartet’s forthcoming album of the same name, due out October 21st.
The game is much like Dr. Mario, with adorable little cartoon versions of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook tossing colorful pills into a jar in order to kill the viruses. The higher the score, the more LBT music the player will unlock.
Now, I’m not much of a gamer, but combining a mid-90s Nintendo game and Little Big Town is just what the doctor ordered!
The foursome will celebrate the release of their album with an album release show at New York City’s Best Buy Theater. They’ll then embark on a fall tour with The Brothers Osborne and Brett Eldredge before popping over to NBC’s The Voice to advise Team Blake.
