What happens when you combine two of music’s most powerful and soulful vocalists? You get taken to church by a measly two minute and 40 second song. The new duet between Martina McBride and Kelly Clarkson is a cover of Aretha Franklin and Sugar Pie DeSanto’s 1966 hit, “In the Basement” and world-premiered today on Glamour.com. The track appears on Martina’s forthcoming album, Everlasting, due out April 8th.
