Social Media Sensation Mary Sarah Set to debut Duets Album #Bridges May 15

18-year-old Singer/Songwriter, Social Media Sensation Mary Sarah was our first ever CMchatLIVE.com One To Watch when we kicked off website feature last year ALL because I had artists like her in mind.  Personally, I’ve been following her career for a few years now, and consider her as well as her family, my family.  If you’ve been to #CMchat on Monday, or you follow me I would be surprised if you weren’t familiar with Mary Sarah.  I am very excited that she has set the US date to debut her duets album Bridges, which has some of country music’s biggest names, singing some country music’s biggest classics.

“Mary Sarah is a beautiful young lady with a beautiful voice” – Willie Nelson

Amazed by the Texas ingénue’s voice and talent, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, the Oak Ridge Boys, the late Ray Price and others all signed on to sing with Mary Sarah on their most iconic hits.

Dolly’s “Jolene,” Willie’s “Crazy” and Merle’s “The Fightin’ Side of Me” are just a few of the songs interpreted by Mary Sarah and her A-list collaborators.

Overseen by executive producer Freddy Powers, who helped Mary Sarah assemble her dream collaborators, Bridges was moved along by the singer’s keen use of social media.

“I’ve been singing since I was 8 years old, touring and posting my performances on YouTube,” says Mary Sarah, who already has more than 100,000 fans across various Social Media platforms. “One day I got a tweet from the Oak Ridge Boys. They asked me to sing at their concert that night. It was incredible. My love of the legends of country music grew, and that’s how this project was born.”

Now, Mary Sarah is ready for country fans to hear it and connect those who love traditional country with those who follow today’s more polished sound. “I see Bridges as something that spans now and then,” she says, “and brings that music back over to this generation.”

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website CMChatLIVE.com. My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat. It all started with a hunch...back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.) I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
