Country Music #CMchat followers and friends know Mary Sarah well, as we are huge fans of this young up and comer around here. You may also know John J. Fox who became a household name when he auditioned for season 13 of American Idol and wow’ed judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick, Jr. with his rendition of “To Make You Feel My Love.”

So, what happens when two of the best vocalists on the brink of stardom combine forces? They take a song by two superstars and make it even better than the original. That is exactly what happened here when Mary Sarah and John tackled Taylor Swift’s and Ed Sheeran’s “Everything Has Changed,” a song that was written by Swift and Sheeran while the two sat on a trampoline. The lyrics tell the story of two people falling for one another, begging to get to know the other a little better after the realization that life changed with this new person in it.

The chemistry between Mary Sarah and John J. Fox in the video is undeniable, as is the flawless way their voices fit together like pieces of a puzzle. With her sweet, smooth vocals and his smoky rasp, listeners are gifted with a cover that could very well soar to the top of the charts in its own right.
