MORE ABOUT MICKEY GUYTON
From the time she grew up in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, Mickey never doubted that country music was what her future held. However, it wasn’t until a chance meeting in California (where she attended college) that her road to country music had a defined “starting line.” Mickey was introduced to producer Julian Raymond, which led her to Gary Borman and Steve Moir, men who helped with the careers of Faith Hill, Keith Urban, and Lady Antebellum. Mickey sensed that the time was now and made the move to Nashville to explore the possibilities. It wasn’t long before a Capitol Nashville recording contract was signed. After spending several years as a hardworking BMI songwriter, she released her debut EP, Unbreakable, and her breakout single, “Better Than You Left Me.” The single broke records in country music as the most added debut song by an artist in Country Aircheck history. Most recently, Mickey has been working on her debut full-length album under the wings of producer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum), and is heading out on her first major tour with Brad Paisley (Crushin’ It Tour), beginning May 15th.
