NBC’s The Voice is back for season SEVEN and is coming in full force. With a power packed panel of judges, this season is on the line to be one of the best yet. Joining veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are newcomers Gwen Stefani and Pharrell. Each of these judges brings chart topping hits and outstanding talent to the table. However, it’s their turn to be judges and be in the hot seat of scoping out the next generation of talent. Here are some of last week’s blind auditions from Team Blake that blew us away:
James David Carter – “Nobody Knows”
Hailing from the ATL, also known as Atlanta, Georgia, James David Carter is bringing the heat to Team Blake. With 12 years experience as a full time musician, he definitely is bringing something to the table. He actually opened for Blake back when he “had a mullet”. Not only was he amazing vocally, he is going to have the ladies in the palm of his hands with those looks. I can’t wait to see, I mean hear, more of him!
Allison Bray – “Merry Go Round”
Allison tried out for The Voice during season 6 and came back this season for a WIN. She comes from Louisville, Kentucky and has a sassy, yet sultry voice that she brings to the competition. She seemed very comfortable in her performance. Could this confidence push her all the way to the end? We will have to wait and see!
Taylor Brashears – “You Ain’t Woman Enough”
Born in raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Taylor is no stranger to country music and it shows in her voice and her stage presence. Her voice is similar to Loretta Lynn, which is a huge honor for Taylor. She’s going to be a feisty and powerful asset to Blake’s team and I love it!
Reagan James – “Give Me Love”
Reagan hails from Burleson, Texas at the whopping age of 15. Blake is quick to point out that the town is Kelly Clarkson’s hometown, so obviously it must be in the water because these girls can SING. Reagan says her favorite genre is R&B, but I can’t wait to see what Blake and her do as a team!
What do you think of #TeamBlake so far? Are we going to win this year?
