Dallas Smith released his new six song EP titled after the hit single and lead off track “Tippin’ Point” today (March 3). If you got hooked on his single “Tippin’ Point” like I did, then it’s safe to say that you’ll absolutetly love this album.
Listening to this EP, it’s easy to pick out Dallas’ next two (or what I think should be his next two) singles. It’s a toss up between “Slow Rollin’” and “Nothin’ But Summer“. “Nothin’ But Summer” lyrically, fits the “bro-country” genre mold, but if a song is good, who really cares? This track could potentially be one of this coming summer’s top anthems as it explains the best parts of summer, hanging out on the beach and has a very infectious chorus.
“Slow Rollin'” is seriously damn good! It includes yet another chorus you can’t help but want to sing along to. In fact, it’s so good, I would compare the chorus being just as catchy as Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise“. This song, for sure has the potential to be his biggest hit from the album.
I would highly recommend this EP if you haven’t bought it already.
