We’ve been posting never heard before music from Johnny Cash from his upcoming album Out Among The Stars for the last couple of months as it becomes available. Well, there’s a new song out there called “I’m Moving On” which is a rendition of the Hank Snow version. This one is particularly good due to the fact that it is a duet with Waylon Jennings.
At the beginning of the 1980s, Cash was teamed up with producer Billy Sherrill to create a new album for Columbia Records. When finished, the label wasn’t big on what they were hearing, so they never released them. Cash kept the recordings and were later found by his son John Carter Cash after Cash’s death. Now, Cash’s son is releasing the never heard before material.
Out Among The Stars is set to be released on March 25.
