Spring is often a great time in the country music world. Last week, artists like Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town were added to stations nationwide. Country music likes to support its up and comers as well; Country Music’s #CMchat favorite John King is entering the charts with his latest single “On Your Lips.” This week, a new set of songs hopes to make its way up the charts. Here are the new tunes that will be playing this week on country radio:
Lady Antebellum – Long Stretch of Love
With NINE number one hits in their setlist, Lady Antebellum is back with a new single. They release “Long Stretch of Love” off of their 747 album that was released last year. The song has become a fan favorite for the trio to perform live. Give it a listen and let us know if you think it will be Lady A’s tenth number one.
Jason Aldean – Tonight Looks Good On You
The recently married Jason Aldean has released a song that fits his current status as a newlywed, “Tonight Looks Good On You.” The song will be right alongside Lady Antebellum as they rise up the charts. The song brings us back to the days when Aldean focused more on lyrics than a good time. The song is quickly becoming a favorite and shows no sign of slowing down.
Cam – My Mistake
Cam is an up and comer worth noting. She was recently signed to Arista Nashville and has been creating quite the buzz in Nashville. Her lyrics, her wit, and her charm are playing for her in her debut single, “My Mistake.” If the rest of her music holds any of the same qualities, I’m sure her debut will give her some success. Currently she has an EP streaming exclusively on Spotify.
For her latest single, The Voice’s RaeLynn takes a more serious approach. She recently released her debut EP, the “ME ep,” that includes songs like “God Made Girls” and “Kissin’ Frogs,” but “For a Boy” was a surprise to fans because it was not a part of her five-track project. The song reminds me of the early heartbroke days of Taylor Swift. Watch the video and let us know what you think of the track.
More songs you will hear on radio this week:
Sarah Dunn Band – Bye Bye
Claire Petrie – C’est La Vie, You Never Can Tell
Outshyne – Moonlight Crush
