It’s November and that means one thing…let the holiday music begin. In addition to holiday music, many artists rely on the sales of the holidays to boost their albums. With that, it’s no surprise that there is lots of new music headed your way this month. Expect new singles from Chase Rice, Rodney Atkins, Haley & Michaels, and James Otto before the end of this the month. That’s in addition to this handful of guys releasing music this week. Here are the new tunes that will be playing this week on country radio:
Dustin Lynch – Hell of a Night
Yep, yep – he’s got more! Dustin Lynch is back with his sophomore single for his Where It’s At album. The first song released on the project, “Where It’s At,” raced to the top of the country charts. “Hell of a Night” was written by #CMchat’s One To Watch, Adam Sanders in addition to Zach Crowell and Jaron Boyer. Give the song a listen – I’m sure this will be yet another hit for Dustin.
This week Georgia boy Cole Swindell also has a song for adds. “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” was cowritten by Swindell with Josh Martin and Adam Sanders (“Hell of A Night”). The song has already started getting played on country radio, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Cole is able to bring it to the top of the charts like he was able to do with “Chillin’ It” and “Hope You Get Lonely.” Check out the song and let us know what you think.
The Swon Brothers – Pray For You
Less than a month ago, The Swon Brothers released their self-titled major label debut. This was following their success on Team Blake in season 4 of The Voice. Their first single released from the project was “Later On,” which had massive summer success and sold over 200,000 copies. Their latest single “Pray For You” has a different feel to it than “Later On” did, but still features the distinctive sound of the duo. Here it is for your listening pleasure.
Dallas Smith – Wastin’ Gas
Dallas Smith is a name well-known by our northern border country, Canada. His last five singles have made their way in the top 10 on Canadian charts. Dallas toured with his friends Florida Georgia Line last year in the US and built a fan base from that. His new single, “Wastin’ Gas” is expected to be on his new album, Lifted, later this year. Do you think this Canadian has what it takes for US charts? Let us know!
