This morning I saw a radio host post a meme that says “The only thing scarier than Friday the 13th is Monday the 13th.” That’s probably the case for these artists hoping their new singles rise up the charts to the top spots. Kenny Chesney‘s new song has already been getting plays on some stations, but you can also look forward to a new Eric Paslay song hitting the radio waves. Here are the new tunes that will be playing this week on country radio:
Kenny Chesney – Til It’s Gone
Last month, Kenny Chesney released his 16th studio album, The Big Revival. The albums first single, “American Kids,” raced to the top of the charts this summer. Kenny’s had over 50 singles released over the years and over 20 of those have made it to #1 on country charts. Give “Til It’s Gone” a listen and decide for yourself if it will reach the same fame.
In 2013, Eric Paslay had massive success with “Friday Night” that was certified gold. After he released his self-titled debut album, he sent “Song About A Girl” to radio. After selling over 200,000 copies of that song, Eric is back on radio with “She Don’t Love You”. The song, written with Jennifer Wayne (Stealing Angels) is bound to pull at your heart strings and has been a favorite among fans. Give the song a listen and let us know what you think!
The Band Perry – Gentle On My Mind
In honor or the late Glen Campbell, The Band Perry has released a cover of his classic “Gentle On My Mind”. The song will be featured in a documentary about Glen’s life titled I’ll Be Me. The documentary will be playing in a limited number of theaters across the country. Head to glencambellmovie.com for more information.
More songs you will hear on radio this week:
Lo-Fi – When You’re Over Me
Andy Ross – What We Do For Fun Around Here
