It’s no surprise that Florida Georgia Line, Toby Keith, and Carrie Underwood had a huge week at country radio last week. Other noticeable singles include Kristian Bush’s “Trailer Hitch” and Eric Paslay’s “She Don’t Love You”. This week, there is a new batch of artists hoping to head up the charts. Here are the new tunes that will be playing this week on country radio:
It’s been a while since Jo Dee Messina has had a hit on radio. Her last major success came in 2005 with “My Give A Damn’s Busted”. For her lasted album, Me, she got help from fans via the popular website Kickstarter. The first few singles have failed to make their way up the charts, but Jo Dee is hopeful that “He’s Messed Up” will be able to do just that. Give the song a listen and let us know what you think.
Billy Currington – Don’t It
Billy Currington has been fairly unstoppable with eight of his singles making their way to the #1 spot on country radio in recent years. This week, he releases “Don’t It”, the first single off his sixth studio album expected next year. The song has already begun being played on radio, so it will be no surprise if it makes its way up the charts as Billy has been able to do in the past.
Gloriana has been in the studio working on their third studio album. This week they release their second single off of the disc, “Trouble”. The first single found a spot in the top 40 at country radio, but failed to climb any higher. They are hoping for success like they had back with “Kissed You Goodnight” in 2011. Do you think this song will bring them to the top of the charts?
More songs you will hear on radio this week:
Adam Wayne – Keep On Pushing Ahead
Matt Farris – She’s Done
David Loving – Bethlehem
Taria – Parading In Your Rain
